Sit. Stay. Come!

Urban Paws is very excited to welcome Debbie Ferrell as our Training Expert. She comes to us with 10 years of experience, awards, and an amazing reputation of providing rewarding results. Debbie is considered one of the very best trainers in Dallas!

“Working with Debbie has been an absolute lifesaver with our dogs! When our 2-year old Basset/Boxer, Lucy, wouldn’t pay attention to us or follow any commands, Debbie zeroed-in on why she was distracted, removed the stimulus, and Lucy’s behavior improved immediately. We started our Beagle, Charlie, with Debbie when he was just a few months old and he is still an absolute angel, years after. Everything is scaled to your dog’s skill level, making training easy, accessible, and genuinely fun for anyone, regardless of breed or behavior. Frustration no longer is a part of training your dog with Debbie."

"There is not a single problem we have brought to Debbie that she has not been able to address and correct in days. House-training, fear of storms, barking at neighbors, pulling on leashes, anything! She works with you and your dog until she finds a solution. I have seen her turn even the most wild and misbehaved of dogs into the most well-behaved companions without ever resorting to shock-collars, choke-chains, or any other sorts of adverse/controversial training techniques."

"She is incredibly patient, compassionate, and attuned to what dogs need and how they think. She doesn’t just “correct behavior;” she get to the source of what the dog wants and needs and addresses it at the source, saving owners and dogs tons of time and effort. Unlike other training programs, Debbie gets down to the motivation behind dogs’ behavior, correcting problems at their source."

This is her passion, and it shows."
